I am super happy to share news with you today about a new, physical-only release, which is due for release at the end of November, and is available to pre-order now.
Titled Remnants: 2015-2024, this new record is a collection of pieces ranging from across the first ten years of my career as an artist, which have not featured on any of my previous physical releases.
Many of the tracks included have been repeatedly requested to be on a physical release by many of you at my live shows in the last few years.
You asked…and I did it!
Tracklisting:
Nocturne
Inside/Out
Saturnine (Solo Piano Version)
Unbound
Seasons (Solo Piano Version)
January
Absolution
Shelter
Speak, Pt. 4
Compline (Live)
Available on both limited edition bio-vinyl and CD, the pieces featured on this release stretch right back to January - the first track I ever uploaded to SoundCloud; a range of singles and compilation contributions; through to a live version of Compline and my most recent new recording of Saturnine.
As such, the record highlights a wide range of pianos, manufacturers, tones, treatments and timbres used for various different recordings and projects.
Also included with both the vinyl and CD: A Retrospective - a beautifully-designed zine, in which I take a closer look at the last 10 years of released music, with specific references to the tracks included on Remnants + thoughts and reflections on my artistic journey to date.
Remnants: 2015-2024 is available to pre-order now, either on Bandcamp (which includes the digital files too), or on my Online Store, and is due for release on/will begin shipping on Thursday 28th November.
However, for those of you in the UK - come and join me at one of my live dates on my Autumn Tour, where you’ll be able to get hold of a copy of either the vinyl or CD before the release date, and also get a 20% discount.
Sharing music with you all over the last ten years has been such a privilege. It’s hard to do justice to express the gratitude I feel for the support so many of you have given me during this period, and I very much hope this you’ll celebrate with me and mark this occasion by getting hold of a copy of Remnants: 2015-2024.
Congratulations Simeon!
