Playing live is the very best thing, and something I missed so much during the lockdown years. I love the way it allows us as musicians and artists to connect with audiences, whether seasoned fans or new fans alike.
I’m especially thrilled to be sharing the stage with a wide range of musical titans and legends, coming up on the following dates, and in cities across the UK where I have had some great shows and times in recent years.
Click on the links below for ticket information if you’d like to come along!
Saturday 27 April - Manchester
I’m heading back to Manchester and the lovely Hallé St Michael’s in Ancoats to open for the brilliant Australian pianist & composer Sophie Hutchings. I love playing in Manchester, and hope to see you all there.
Sunday 28 April - London
I’ll be back at Servant Jazz Quarters in Dalston, East London for a relaxed Sunday evening performance as part of a multi-artist lineup featuring composers Ell Kendall & Sergio DÃaz De Rojas. I’ll be playing some pieces from my Winnow album alongside Ell’s strings & wind quartet.
Monday 29 April - Bristol
I’ll be opening for Sophie again, this time in the delightful Lantern Hall at Bristol Beacon. I’ve had some fabulous times in Bristol in recent years and this will be a really stunning evening.
Wednesday 1 May - Leeds (Brudenell)
Returning home to Leeds, I’ll be opening for the fantastic Gondwana-signed saxophonist Jasmine Myra, back at my spiritual home, the one-and-only Brudenell Social Club. Jasmine has a great band and it’ll be a very nice show indeed, do come down.
Sunday 9 June - Leeds (Howard Assembly Room)
For the next show in my Brudenell Piano Sessions event series, we head into the city centre to the magnificent Howard Assembly Room, with a stellar lineup feat. Hohnen Ford, Jessica Roch & Nightports + Matthew Bourne. I’ll be hosting as usual.
Thursday 11 July - Alton
I’m very much looking forward to heading to the lovely Hampshire town of Alton to perform a headline performance for the inaugural Alton Arts Festival. There are also performances from LYR, Cara Dillon and Leeds’ own Testament, as well as comedian Richard Herring. It’ll be a lovely evening, do check it out.
A common theme with these upcoming events is that rather than being part of my own headline tour, I get to open for and play alongside a range of other musicians and artists.
It’s such an honour and a treat to be part of these musical events, showcasing such an amazing array of talent and creativity, and I’m thrilled to be getting out and about once more.
I do hope you can join me at one of the shows above if you’re based near to Manchester, London, Bristol, Leeds and Hampshire. Hope to see you there!
