"Never. Quite. Enough"--the refrain of many of us before we stop trying to be what we're not and start being who we're meant to be. Your music (and writing) is uniquely YOU, which is why the rest of us enjoy it so much.
Thanks SO much, Rhonda! Your encouragement means a great deal to me, and I'm grateful for all the ways you've kept cheering me on this year. It was such a treat to see you in Cheltenham too 😊
I've been pondering recently on if seasons are really a thing, at least weather wise. You seem to get all of the seasons in one day sometimes more recently, and I find that a more helpful mental model. I sometimes feel that I'm very up and down even in a single day. In fact I do wonder how much my mood actually matches the weather, both on the longer traditional seasonal timescales, but also in the micro-seasons of each day.
Thanks so much for this, Chris! I think these are some really lovely and insightful thoughts, and I especially concur with the up and down nature of one day and it being expressed as like experiencing all the seasons in one day. That's a lovely way of looking at it, and I'm going to ponder on that some more, for sure.
Thank you for sharing, and sending all my best wishes!

It's enough. You may not know it is, but it is.
