Geer geek question from me. What piano(s) do you play at home, and do you tend to play totally acoustic, or do you ever play on a weighted 'digital' piano/keyboard/synth for experimentation purposes?

Looking forward to see you in bury this month!!

Hey Adrian! Good to hear from you, hope you're well.

My piano at home is a Rönisch upright - made in the former GDR, and a really lovely instrument. It wouldn't command a big fee if I was ever to sell it, but it really does have a lovely sound and tone when recording it. It was also the piano I spent most of my childhood learning on, and so there's just a very strong sense of familiarity and oneness with it as an instrument which is very special.

I do play keyboards in numerous other bands, projects and contexts, absolutely. I've got a Nord Electro, a Roland Jupiter 50, a Prophet Rev 2 and also a Roland RD-64 which is very handy for when I need something weighted but is super light and transportable.

It's very rare that I'll do a Simeon Walker performance on a keyboard - it would be very limited circumstances I'd consider it, but I enjoy messing around with sounds, synths, patches and samples as much as the next person!

Great you can make it to Bury. Look forward to seeing you there tomorrow!
