You're not wrong about the Icelanders!

Yes, saw Christian Loffler at Band on the Wall in Manchester on Easter Monday.

Brilliant and surreal in equal measure!

Oh great, I’m glad you got to see him. Yes, I’ve heard it’s quite the show!

I haven‘t dug into Sable Fable yet but it‘s on my list! My three would be:

1. Chappel Roan‘s album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, which is pure joy for me;

2. Bluets by Ah Kosmos! + Büşra Kayıkçı, which came out a couple of years ago but I just never get tired of;

3. Towards The Light by the Curve Ensemble, which has just come out and is wonderful contemporary classical music for string ensemble.

+1 for Sable Fable. Listening to tracks from the album pre-release (those such as 'Speyside' and the like, this did not disappoint. A fantastic album.

Now exploring all manner of great new music to me, such as Longer Shadows, Softer Stones by Snorri Hallgrimson. Well worth a listen. Pretty much everything that Olafur Arnalds puts out (including his ambient, melodic, downbeat dance stuff with Kiasmos), and more recently, all manner of stuff from Christian Loffler.

Yes, absolutely! Really enjoying it.

Oh great, yes Snorri is a great composer. I don't know what's in the water in Iceland but whatever it is, it's pretty special!

I think Christian was over here on tour last week actually, did you catch him live?
